Cancellation Policy

1. Notice Period

  • Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice at least 30 days in advance.

  • During the notice period, the developer will continue to work and deliver all ongoing tasks unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Early Cancellation

  • If the Client decides to cancel the service within the first month, a minimum of 5 days’ notice is required.

  • Any work completed up to the date of cancellation will be billed in full.

3. Deposit / Security Retainer

  • For full-time developers, a security deposit equivalent to one month’s fee is required after the initial 3-month trial period.

  • This deposit is non-refundable in case of early termination without proper notice.

  • The deposit will be refunded within 30 days after final project delivery and clearance of all pending invoices.

4. No Refund for Accepted Work

  • Payments made for periods already completed or deliverables already approved by the Client are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are only applicable when the developer fails to perform or deliver as agreed, and only for the current billing cycle.

5. Temporary Suspension or Replacement

  • In the event of a developer’s temporary absence, hours will be compensated within the same or following month.

  • For extended absences, a replacement developer will be assigned at no additional cost to the Client.

6. Change of Technology or Project Scope

  • If the Client requests a major change in technology or project scope (e.g., switching from PHP to Java), a 45-day prior notice is required.

  • Any significant reallocation of resources or retraining time will be billed accordingly.

7. Breach or Non-Payment

  • Failure to provide notice or to make payment on time will result in immediate suspension of services.

  • Reinstatement of the service will require full payment of pending invoices plus one month in advance.

8. Confidentiality and Data Retention

  • All confidential data and project materials will remain stored securely for 30 days after cancellation, after which they may be permanently deleted unless otherwise instructed by the Client in writing
